Since its start, Umar has established and formed many partnerships, including the following:
- The Lawrenceville School Camp in NJ (provides Umar the opportunity every summer to send kids to a two week overnight camp experience in rural NJ. The camp also provides junior counselor positions for Umar’s older kids.)

- World Trade Center Institute (in 2011 Umar hosted delegations from El Salvador and Central America at our facility)

- Maryland Institute College of Art (supported Umar via the design of a 15-page newspaper periodical that serves as Umar’s primary marketing brochure)
- Johns Hopkins University (works with Umar thru their Child and Crisis class)
- Our Daily Bread (provides Umar students the opportunity to serve as volunteers)

- Towson University’s Honors College (Umar is listed on Towson’s website as a part of the Honors College Service Learning Program)
